Boats without surf tabs rely heavily on ballast alone, limiting control and side-to-side switching. Some hulls with narrow chines, extreme curvature or raised decals are notoriously difficult to shape properly using basic setups. Wave performance requires the right shaping solution.

Fresh Air Exhaust

At surf speeds, exhaust can sit right at swim platform level. That means the rider and anyone sitting at the back of the boat are closest to the fumes.

We install Fresh Air Exhaust (FAE) systems that route engine exhaust below the waterline and away from the rider. At surf speeds, exhaust is directed into the prop wash and dispersed underwater instead of lingering at platform level. The difference is noticeable - cleaner air behind the boat and more comfortable surf sessions.

Stern Thrusters

With ballast full and limited reverse steering control, docking in tight marinas or windy conditions can quickly become stressful - especially for newer drivers.

We install ezDrive stern thrusters designed specifically for inboard wake and surf boats.
